New Dresses and more. . .

I was so excited to make matching dresses for the girls (now that there are 2 of them!). I think they turned out pretty good. . .but I still need to work on zippers, the top part looks good, but I have trouble at the end of the zipper where the toggle is when it's open. Hopefully I will find out the trick to make it even look better! I was a little self conscious of them since I made them, but they wore them to church today and a couple people told me they thought they were cute, so that made me feel better about them. Now to find something boy-like to make for Brady. He always wants to know what I am making and is a little disappointed when he finds out it's usually something for a girl. Any ideas?Well, Courtney is taking after Lauren when she was a baby with her every ~5 day poop! I always dread when the day comes because it's a complete blow out! Disgusting, I know, and always a big mess to clean up. I don't know how she does it, but it always goes up the front of her. I rarely see her when she is doing it, so am always surprised by the smell once I pick her up and unwrap the lovely surprise. Hopefully the next blow out comes today since Grandma Jenny is watching her tomorrow for my first day back at work, and I know how much of a mess it is to clean up.
Before. . .After. . .

And one more thing. . .

Our neighbors have a wood deck and rats live under it (I know, completely disgusting, right?). Well they put a rat pellet out last year to kill them but the pellet was totally in reach of the kids (right under the fence line). SCARY! So my brother Greg and Brock got a trap and set it up a couple weeks ago. This week I looked in it and saw the door was closed. It totally disgusted me, I couldn't even believe it, and I hate even talking about it because I think it's SO gross. They kids were excited to see it. I guess it's better to have caught it then have it roaming around. Hopefully we won't catch too many, I would love to think there are no more . . .but I am sure where there's one there's more! YUCK!

Those dresses are adorable! I am no good at being crafty so I have no advice on that. Courtney is so cute, even with her big blow out! Have fun on your first day back to work. Hope to see you soon!

I love the poop shot. There's nothing like a huge blow out. The dresses are adorable. You go Mrs. Craft. I am no good in that realm. I always seem to aspire to being crafty, but then I never manage to even start, or if I do start I never finish. Good to see you back at work.

I love the material of the dresses--so cute! Perhaps you could make Brady a tie... Courtney has quite the explosions--how fun for you! And, I can relate with the rat problem...yuck!
